Mooses

I'll preface this blog by telling everyone how much I love my mom. Without her help over the past 2+ years, no way I'd be sane. This is me and my fantabulous momma:

The other day, I found a book that someone had given the boys a while back. It had been inadvertently misplaced, and I was thrilled to find it. It's called "Mooses Come Walking," by Arlo Guthrie. I love this book.

The boys gathered on the couch with me to read this crazy looking book, about what happens when mooses look into people's windows at night.

Then we get to this page, the first page that shows a human:

And suddenly (with no provocation) the boys all got really excited and started pointing and squealing: "GWAMMY!!! I see GWAMMY!!!" They could not believe that this wonderful book starred their most wonderful grammy.

To this day, they think this book is about mooses looking into Grammy's window at night.

I told my mom not to take it too personally. Clearly the boys didn't notice that the person in the book only has eight fingers, is a dude, and LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HER. What can I say? They stick goldfish up their noses too.

Love you mom!
